Introducing Saber: Where sellers get meaningful work done

Joey van Ommen
Today we’re officially introducing Saber, a next generation GTM intelligence and productivity platform that finally gives sellers a single place to work.
Saber brings everything together that sellers need to build stronger pipelines and to close deals faster - from deep, automated account and contact discovery and research, to hyper-personalized outreach and content generation. While existing tools are sprinkling AI onto old architecture, Saber is built from the ground up to fully leverage AI to transform the way sellers work today.
Before we go into all the specifics, let’s take a step back and dive into what we’re solving for:
The state of sales tech today
There are more sales tools than ever before. Many of them promise a jump in productivity or a giant list of new leads and, of course, they all come with integrations into all the other tools you’re already using.
To find out how sales teams are actually building out their sales stack, we’ve been working closely with sales managers, account executives, SDRs and BDRs from a variety of B2B SaaS companies and what we learned was consistent across all of them:
They all boast a web of sales tools, carefully curated and stitched together, making sure data ends up where it needs to, centralised in the CRM. Millions are spent on building a machine to provide sellers with account lists and making sure they have the means to put data where it needs to go, so the company can properly forecast and manage up. A well-oiled machine.
Sounds pretty good, no?
Here’s what happens in practice: Sellers get lead lists only to end up disqualifying 70-80%, costing them days each week. Buyers have gotten more sophisticated and with so much auto-generated engagement out there, sellers need to dive deeper to find a hook that actually resonates and breaks through the noise. The best sellers spend hours finding this information and the worst ones don’t do it at all, seeing their close rate plummet.
Despite the sales stack being stitched together, sellers are still jumping from one tool to another, losing valuable time each time. The sales stack is not built for them, in fact, most sales tools aren’t built for them, and sellers are mandated to do data-entry, instead of being provided with an experience that makes that seamless and increases their productivity.
While sales leaders are focussed on building sustainable GTM motions with efficient sales teams, more than half of a seller's time goes to non-revenue generating activity. Sellers have no access to real-time information, need to jump between tools constantly, and due-process is actually slowing them down instead of helping them achieve quota.
Why we built Saber
There were three specific reasons why we built Saber and how we want to address the productivity and efficiency gap that so many sales teams face today:
#1 Sellers need access to real-time data
You can build the best lead-gen and list building machine there is, but by the time that list or prospect gets to your seller, the data is already stale. Access to real-time data allows sellers to find the latest most relevant information to quickly qualify an account, to determine if it's even worth the time, and to find a unique hook and point-of-view that makes the seller stand out and get that first meeting faster.
Sellers shouldn’t have to waste time finding information, either internally or externally, and should have the answers they need at their fingertips, so they can focus on building meaningful relationships.
#2 Sellers need one place to work
To drive real efficiency, sellers don’t need more tools, they need fewer places they need to jump between. They need one place where they can complete tasks and figure out what the next most important thing is to focus on to progress the deal.
Switching between tools doesn’t only waste time, it also increases the chances of human error. Every time something needs to be copy-pasted or remembered between two different applications, is a time where context could get lost or entered incorrectly, creating massive down-stream issues.
#3 Sellers need to be supercharged, not replaced
Lots of tools are aiming to use AI and the latest tech to build the next generation of workers by entirely replacing humans or specific GTM roles. We don’t believe that's the future, or at least, not the immediate future. We believe closing great deals still requires a human touch, and we’re not aiming to replace that. We’re aiming to replace all the mundane tasks that prevent a seller from spending time on what they are actually good at and can’t be automated, instead of updating CRM records, researching companies or figuring out how to follow the latest playbook.
Saber looks to make a single seller feel like they’re 10 sellers, instead of replacing 10 sellers with a fully automated solution that may very well ruin your reputation if it's fed the wrong information.
So how does it work?
Saber requires minimum setup. Configure your organization by giving us information about what you want to know about the accounts you are interested in, connect your internal tools like your knowledge base on Notion or your Salesforce CRM, and that’s it.
Sales reps can import their account list and Saber will research them all, surfacing insights, looking for signals in real-time, and generating account maps and plans for each account. Sellers have instant access to Saber’s assistant, allowing them to ask any question and generate content on the fly. Sellers are using it to generate call talking points, meeting prep documents, POV business cases, value pyramids and much more.
Saber has transformed how I manage my accounts. It centralizes everything—notes, updates, and priorities—and with Saber assistant, it saves me hours in crafting personalized messages that get results. For example, I spotted a prospect’s CTO posting about scaling infrastructure, sent a tailored email using all the information I have within 2 minutes, and booked a meeting directly. It’s a game-changer for having more relevant conversations.

Under the hood, Saber orchestrates your internal data and enriches it with external data found across the web and via trusted third-party data sources. We clean and validate this data, and transform it into useful insights and content. We believe that high-quality data leads to high-quality output, so our proprietary platform plays a significant role in making sure that the data that passes through our plumbing and yours is of the highest quality.
Saber has been an invaluable tool in helping me quickly get up to speed with my new accounts as an Enterprise Account Executive. Its intuitive research and account signal capabilities provide real-time insights into key decision-makers, business initiatives, and market activities, enabling me to craft tailored outreach and impactful sales strategies. The platform’s ability to surface relevant account signals has saved me so much time, allowing me to approach prospects with deeper context and deliver value-focused conversations.

Teams are set up on Saber within 30min, and we’re constantly adding more tools to our connector inventory, centralising more data in one place, and constantly reducing the number of tabs a seller needs to have open.
With Saber, we’re changing the way sellers get work done and we’re creating the next generation of hyper-efficient sales teams. Interested? Reach out, we’d love to give you a demo and show you how sellers from Databricks, Wiz and more are using Saber.
